Sarcoma is considered the "forgotten cancer" but July is Sarcoma Awareness Month and helps raise awareness and honor survivors.
Sarcoma is considered the "forgotten cancer" but July is Sarcoma Awareness Month and helps raise awareness and honor survivors. It was given this name due to the fact that not only is it often hidden deep in the body and difficult to diagnose; sarcoma is also low on the cancer awareness list. Sarcoma is a soft-tissue cancer that may occur in a variety of the body’s soft tissues or in the bones and it is more common in children than adults. Join ACFC in raising awareness for this "forgotten cancer", share our social media posts or click here if you'd like to make a donation in honor of Sarcoma fighters and survivors.
